The following carriers offer connecting flights to Bangkok from Moscow:

  • Finnair – 12 hours 10 minutes, with a one-hour connection in Helsinki.
  • S7 – 13 hours 30 minutes, with a two-hour layover in Novosibirsk.
  • Turkish Airlines – 19 hours 10 minutes with a 7-hour stop in Istanbul
  • Emirates – 27 hours 45 minutes with a 16-hour wait in Dubai, etc.

Resorts such as Koh Samui or Krabi province are also popular in Thailand. But the Moscow-Samui flight as well as the Moscow-Krabi flight are usually not popular because of the high ticket price and lack of direct flights.

The fastest flight from Moscow to Krabi takes 13 hours (Qatar Airways) and to Samui – 14 hours and 45 minutes (Singapore Airlines). But, again, the prices are different from the flight to Bangkok by 7-10 thousand rubles.

How long does it take to fly to Thailand from St. Petersburg? In the case of the northern capital, the schedule of direct scheduled flights is much sadder.

In particular, Ikar Airlines flies to Bangkok from St. Petersburg without changing planes; travel time is 10 hours. Another option is charter flights, but they are part of the tour.

It takes 12 to 15 hours to get to Bangkok with a connection.

You can save money by buying tickets as early as possible – ideally six months in advance – or, conversely, waiting for burning airline tickets, but it falls to the lot of the truly lucky. The standard route of flight from Russia (European part) to Thailand passes through the territory of 9 countries. The first country on the way is Kazakhstan. On some routes there are non long-distance airliners that stop for refueling in Kazakhstan (now there are very few such flights) – this also affects how long it takes to fly to Thailand.
