The validity of new visas will depend on the validity of previous visas and the correctness of their use. If previous visas were used incorrectly, the Consulate General of Spain may refuse to issue a visa or shorten its validity.

Please note that as of May 31, 2021, flight reservations/tickets and hotel reservations are required as part of the application package. These reservations/tickets are formally required. Comply with these requirements even if Russian citizens are not allowed to enter Spain at the time of your trip.

Previously allowed categories of applicants who can apply for a visa: – Business (providing: an invitation from a Spanish company, a copy of the ID card of the signatory of the invitation, a copy of the first page of the passport of the applicant, booking of air tickets in English + flash card with scanned above documents in pdf format); – Students, for a period not exceeding 90 days. – Persons who have undergone a complete course of vaccinations with one of the vaccines approved by EMA or WHO (Pfizer, Moderna, Astra Zeneca, Janssen, Sinopharma y Sinovac) with a copy of the vaccination certificate (including those applicants who have not previously had a Schengen visa). and some others.

The amount of financial guarantee is 90 € per person for each day of stay.

As for the insurance, it is recommended to buy an insurance with a validity of one year and a duration corresponding to the duration of the planned trip (for example, 10, 15, 24 days). This will not increase the cost of insurance and can be surrendered with a full refund if the trip does not take place at all.

The visa applicant will have to wait until the epidemic situation in Spain and Schengen countries allows for the restrictions at the borders to be lifted.

If your child does not have a passport, and it is entered in the parent, then it too needs a form with a photo.

Photo. Enclose one color photo 3,5 x 4,5 cm to the form, and the other just attach it to the documents. The requirements for the photo standard, they know about them in any photo salon. The photo must be new, not older than 6 months.

Let’s talk more about the points in the form, which usually cause difficulties in filling out.

Points 5, 6 and 7. Point 5 – place of birth – we write it as in the passport. For me it is simply USSR. Item 6 – USSR, if you were born before the collapse of the USSR, and RUSSIAN FEDERATION, if after. Point 7: Citizenship at the moment – RUSSIAN FEDERATION, if born – similar to point 6.

Item 16: Just write RUSSIAN FEDERATION, no FMS number is needed.

Paragraph 19: I wrote FREELANCER and Lesha wrote INDIVIDUAL ENTREPRENEUR.

Paragraph 20: For freelancers, unemployed and pensioners – a dash, for individual entrepreneurs – name, phone, registration address. For those who are employed – your organization details.

Point 24: Don’t be modest and ask for multiple entries.

Paragraph 25: We specified exactly as many days as the trip was planned.

Paragraph 29 and 30. Your arrival and departure dates.

Item 31: The name of your hotel/name of the person you will be staying with/address of stay. We provided a numbered list of hotels. Just below that are places for address and phone, also in a numbered list for convenience. We did not write the e-mail address of the hotels.

How to fill in the form for visa to Spain

Item 32. Tourists do not need to fill in, it is only for business visit.

Paragraph 33. Write YES as in the sample and check the appropriate boxes. If you pay your expenses yourself, you will need the left column. Choose means: we specify cash, credit card, prepaid transportation.

Even if you have a debit card, put it as a credit card. If the hotel is paid and not just a cancelled reservation, select prepaid accommodation.

Confirmation of accommodation

For Spain, a hotel reservation from Booking.com will work – we made a free cancelable one. A document from Airbnb will also work. Some time after you get your visa, don’t forget to cancel the reservation, or you’ll get a fine. Keep in mind that some hotels deduct the amount for the reservation.

Rumors and Speculation. They say that the consulate sometimes calls hotels and checks the validity of the reservation, so it is important to get the hotel numbers right. Also, there is an opinion that the more expensive the hotel booked, the higher the probability of getting a long-term multischengen. Whether this is true in reality, I do not know. We booked hotels 2 * or 3 * with different prices – and for 40 euros per night, and 100.

Important: in the reservation should be in English names of all who apply with you for a visa. You have to have accommodation for all days of stay!

Insurance

Take out insurance online at Compare.ru or Cherehapa – they compare prices of all major insurance companies. You can choose a policy by the parameters you need and the best price. The cost of the policy – from 300 rubles for a week.

It must be valid in all Schengen countries and cover the entire period of stay. The insurance coverage must be no less than 30 thousand euros. We have provided insurance from Tinkoff bank, which is free for a year with the card All Airlines.

Ticket booking

We had the tickets paid for. We advise not to cheat and draw the tickets on Photoshop – they may check and deny a visa. Not only did they take my itinerary receipt, but also the ticket receipt that Pegasus sends in the mail.

Economic assurance.

This is a confirmation that you will return to Russia. For a visa to Spain will do certificate of employment (preferably on the official form with a salary and seniority, seal and signature), or a certificate of a form 2NDFL. Everything must be up-to-date – 1 month from the date of issue.

For entrepreneurs – copies of OGRN, TIN and declaration.

Freelancers, of course, this point skip, but can win back in the next paragraph.

Financial guarantees

At a choice: the statement from the bank account on the letterhead of bank, traveler’s checks, the certificate on purchase of currency, a credit card with the check where the balance on the account is reflected. There should be 73,59 euros per person per day. Everything must be current – 1 month from date of issue.

We provided:

  • an account statement from Sberbank (costs 100 rubles on the bank’s letterhead with a stamp and signature – as it turns out, it can be free) – it is made instantly;
  • A copy of the front side of the card (credit/debit card, makes no difference);
  • a regular check from the ATM for the balance on the card;
  • Reference in English and Russian from Tinkoff Bank for the same card – we have two All Airlines and one Black.

For sponsors: sponsor letter and financial guarantees.

Passports

You need to photocopy all pages of all valid passports, even the blank ones. Print on A4 sheets consecutively (. ) on both sides. Cancelled passports – at your discretion. If you decide to surrender, then all its pages need to be photocopied too. We handed in both the new and old.

Do not forget about the internal passport – there you need all the sheets with the marks.
